Shine in The Dark

find her underneath the spotlight

you can never see her, but you'll find another shining bright.

she's that shadow that the world forgot

yet the dark that the moon can't live without

she's the dark that the stars longing for

And the dusk always accompany her by the shore

safe and sound embraced by the night

away from the storm, away from the monster's bite

she's hypnotized by the beauty of the gloom

she's in comfort but hoping one day she can bloom

little did she know, 

little did you know,

the beasts love her to death

dragging her to the deepest dark place you would never imagine

she is in.

she lets them in.

the beam she adores in the dark,

the light she brings to the night,

is just another hope for her sanity to fight.

at last,

she's blinded

by the shining hope

that she's been holding so tight.
